DUNEDIN

Taieri Gorge Train Ride - This prestige tourist train operates from the historic Railway Station in Dunedin and takes visitors through the rugged and spectacular Taieri River Gorge. Trip includes full commentary, photographic stops and on board refreshments is available.

Dunedin Botanic Gardens - Established in 1863, Dunedin Botanic Garden is the oldest in New Zealand and offers a wide range of amenities and specialised plant collections. Entry is free and the gardens are open from dawn to dusk so you can leisurely enjoy the stunning gardens, the aviary with over 200 birds (mostly exotic species), the Winter Garden Glasshouse and the Alpine House.
