Kimberley Outback Toursday 6
Mitchell Falls
Landscape photographers will have a blast today as we travel through a diverse range of landscape. Plenty of capture moments including woodlands, lush rainforest, Aboriginal rock art and waterfalls to name just a few. The famous Mitchell Falls is where we will enjoy the rest of our day before setting up our bush camp in the area.

day 7
Drysdale Station
Today we find ourselves travelling south and exploring the wonderlands of Wandjina and Bradshaws rock art sites. Enjoy lunch at Miners Pool before heading onto Drysdale Station for an afternoon of relaxing or exploring before setting up camp for the night in the campground with full facilities.

day 8
Mt Barnett - Roadhouse Manning Gorge
Kimberley Outback ToursAfter a hearty camp breakfast we continue our travels south back to the Gibb River Road as we head deeper into the heart of the Kimberley towards our over-night camp location on the picturesque Manning River where we can enjoy a relaxing lunch before setting up camp. Take a stroll to Upper Manning Gorge before enjoying a refreshing swim in the welcoming waters of the Manning River.

day 9
Galvins Gorge - King Leopold Ranges - Windjana Gorge
Galvins Gorge is a must visit in the area as it is a top swimming hole with a great waterfall and rocky outcrops that make great diving planks! You will also get to enjoy the scenic views over the Packhorse and King Leopold Ranges from the lookout at Philips Range before a lunch break at one of the many rivers crossings on route today. Our bush campsite for the evening is in the Windjana Gorge.

day 10
Derby, Prison Tree, Broome
Kimberley Outback ToursAwaken to a hearty camp breakfast before we are once again back on the Gibb River Road and onwards to Derby. The town of Derby is located on the tidal mud flats on the edge of the King Sound and is famous for the highest tidal range of any port in Australia. At Derby we enjoy lunch before taking in some of the local attractions, including the old Derby Gaol which is a registered National & State Heritage Site and Boab Prison Tree which is believed to be around 1,500 years old and has an impressive girth of 14.7 metres! We will also visit Myalls Bore and Cattle Trough where you can view a water trough that could handle 500 bullocks at once and is a staggering 120 metres in length. From Derby we drive to Broome on the Great Northern Highway. In Broome we set up camp for the night in Broome's only caravan park on a beach.

day 11
Broome, Beagle Bay, Cape Leveque
Today we a take a detour North from Broome and travel into the Dampier Peninsula along Cape Leveque Road up to Beagle Bay. Beagle Bay is famous for its historic church, built during the First World War. The township today boasts a modern Aboriginal community that caters for the tourist market. The Sacred Heart Church boasts a stunning mother-of-pearl shell altar that was built entirely by hand by the Pallotine monks and Aboriginal people. From Beagle Bay we head onto Cape Leveque for our nights accommodation at a wilderness style luxury camp. Kooljaman at Cape Leveque has a variety of accommodation and has been designed to capture the rugged natural character of the Kimberley region. The campground has full amenities as well as a restaurant overlooking the Eastern Beach. Enjoy a range of activities including fishing charters, mud crabbing, swimming and more.
